Weekly Agility Classes
Looking to join a weekly agility class?
Our classes are all taught by experienced agility competitors.
Our small class size (maximum of 4 dogs) means that you'll get plenty of personalized instruction during your hour class time.
Our format is to have 2 dogs working at a time (separated by fencing) so everyone gets plenty of training time.
As a weekly student, you also get access to our private student Facebook page, first chance to register for ADT workshops, opportunity to join our monthly training membership and more!
We currently offer four levels of classes:
Agility Foundation Games: This level incorporates relationship building games, balancing drive and self control, and the beginning of obstacle and handling skills. No previous agility experience is required! Open to dogs 12 weeks and older
Skill Building: this level includes short skill-based sequences of 3-7 obstacles and introduction to contact obstacles (dogwalk, teeter, & Aframe) and introduction to weave poles. Dogs should be already doing jump/tunnel work to join this level.
Competition Prep: this level will help you develop the skills required to compete in beginner levels and includes longer sequences of approximately 10-14 obstacles, contacts in sequence, and weave pole training progressions.
Competition: this level includes full course running, a distance/"gamble" sequence, and a skill-based exercise. Dogs should be comfortable with all equipment but do not necessarily need to be competing at a masters level
May-Oct Agile Acres, Erin ON (outdoors on grass)
Nov-April Mayrich Kennels, Belwood ON (heated indoors on turf)
